All I care about is receiving an alert when there is new information, and that’s what I get. The simpler this remains, the better. Whatever features exist beyond that, I don’t want, need, or care about. Looks like there was a bug with registering in the past but that seems to be fixed now.

In order to get push notifications, you need to register an account. You need to provide an email address and phone number. After I set this all up, it never actually let me sign into the account. Without the account you cant receive push notifications.

It will not let me attach my account. The "Attach My Account" button doesnt work AT ALL. Seems like a pretty necessary feature to have overlooked...

Cant register(in the app or on the website) without subscribing to a region/organization when the subscribe feature never appears on any page. Cant login using the email I used on my old account which according to them should have been deleted or create an account using said email because its in use but doesnt exist for login.

I have the same problem so many others seem to have. I cant register my account. I can put in my email and password but no matter how many time I push register account, it does absolutely nothing. It would be extremely helpful if it would work and I wish it did but oh well.

They should fix this! Can not make account. Person who made this should be thrashed!

Ive noticed that even though I have notifications turned on for this app, it doesnt give notifications. They need to simplify the app. I dont need PR news from school districts in my state, nor do I use this app for sports scores. Just make it my go to, reliable source for emergency school district information. Bottom line: I feel I cant rely on this app or the service.

I receive alerts immediately, whereas it takes longer to receive via email or text message. The alert from the app sends the notification as soon as its posted to the Flash Alert site, so there is no delay for it to send to your email.

After multiple attempts to "attach" this App and my account, the only way I got it to work was to try to set up a "new account". Of course the App told me my email address was already associated with an account, but at least then it allowed me to log in from the App. But that was the ONLY way I could get this set up. Stupid.

Followed directions and set up account but will not let me log into app, button does nothing!

I have successfully created an account, and successfully linked it to this app. I then managed to subscribe to one local fire department. Now, after successfully logging in, I want to add additional subscriptions. Im asked to select a region; when I do this a scroll wheel appears. The app does not let me select ANY of the options on the scroll wheel; they ALL seem to be inactive. When I try to simply back up to the previous screen, back up, the app brings me back to the login window, and I have to log in all over again. For an app that is supposed to be providing potential life and death information, this is an unacceptable travesty.

I attempted to login after just making an account on the Internet. And it wouldnt even let me link the account or login into the app!!! Broken and uninstalled it.

After successfully registering on my iPad, I cannot register my IPhone - I enter my email address and password press add and nothing happens, not even an error message. I know the app isnt frozen because I can press any other option and it works. And I cannot find anything on tech support on the app or on their website.

App flat out doesnt work. It wont let you log into it. Ill change my rating if the developers can figure this out and fix it.

I have an account but the app will not let me sign in. I wanted the app for the push alerts/texts since email isnt always checked. Unfortunately without being able to log into the app, this feature is worthless. Im deleting it now.

Such a promising app, but just doesnt work.

Flash alert worked great on my IPhone 5 last year and was a big help as I drive a school bus and it is nice to have a heads up about snow days etc. But now on my IPhone 6 it does nothing when I enter my correct username and password (and yes they ARE the correct ones). The logo that you tap to continue appears to be broken as it gives the options to "cut, copy, paste, etc." rather then simply accepting the entered username and password.

I love that I get an alert when places I subscribe to are closed or delayed due to weather.
